Men Have No Dog In The Fight: Realistic Ramifications Of Overturning Roe V. Wade

As a man, well an educated man, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I should have zero influence or impact on whether or not a woman chooses to have an abortion. It’s 100% HER CHOICE. It’s her body, her reproductive organs, her choice. I have no dog in the fight. It’s bothersome that now the U.S. Senate could be voting to overturn the groundbreaking Roe V Wade decision in 1973. The fact that that case ever even had to go in front of a judge is preposterous to begin with. That is the problem when you have the government trying to govern EVERYTHING.

A woman should not have to ask permission, or get a license, or whatever from anybody when it comes to her body. That is 100% hers. She most assuredly should not have to go before a Senate that is 76% male. It’s just one more sense of control that the US government wishes to impress upon its population amidst the “land of the free”. A land mind you, that was stolen and built up with slave labor, so it should come as no surprise that a country that has committed such atrocities historically would want to continue casting heinous decision-making choices regarding women’s bodies. A place that no decisions should be made other than by the woman herself.

If the U.S. Senate does overturn Roe V. Wade that will only further divide this country. This is sadly a country that has long-standing laws in place to benefit white males, even though you would be informed otherwise. Those in control, those that sit atop of the hill so to speak, are white males. So it is in their best interest to continue pulling the reigns tighter on everyone else. That means overturning Roe V. Wade. They want to retain the control they once had prior to that decision. It is a sad state, and one can only hope that justice will prevail, and there will be no overturning of that monumental decision. I can’t stress this enough, but I as a male have zero say on the matter, and I have no dog in this fight. It is the woman’s choice, and I wholeheartedly support whatever she chooses.
