Chaplin’s Dream Rolls Out A Hard Hitting And Melodic Song ‘Salt Of The Earth’ To Throttle Your Senses

Chaplin’s Dream newest output is sure to get your adrenaline going as they pull you in through their hard-hitting melodies, electrifying guitar riffs, blood pumping drums and engaging lyrical content. From the opening strum of the guitar coupled with the pace setting drums and the evocative black & white industrial imagery their video for “Salt Of The Earth’ has you hooked. Ivaylo Todorov’s vocal range on this piece seems pleasantly reminiscent of Ronnie James Dio.

The locale of the video gives you a sense of voyeurism as if you’re sneaking a peek into the band’s creative process they go through in a makeshift practice space. There are no plush couches, pristine sound boards or soft carpets to make you feel at home. No, this video gives a sense of the grimy, the nit and gritty, the bare to the bone roots of this band. It gives the viewer a appreciated sense of realism without all the pomp and circumstance. It’s raw and unapologetic in every sense of the word. It is metal.

This song I found to be extremely evocative of great metal songs of yesteryear. It’s expertly composed by a masterful band that’s comprised of uber talented musicians that put their all into every note of this amazing song. As I stated earlier Todorov’s vocal range is on par with Dio’s. That is not a bad bit of company to keep. Danail Petkov’s manipulation of the guitar is a thing to be hold. To get those noises to emit so beautifully from his instrument is a tremendous feat. That along with Venelin Antonov’s exhilarating working of the bass and Svetoslav Dimitrov’s unrelenting pounding of the drums have all combined to birth into this world a song worthy of the ages.
